TIVAR® DRY SLIDE
General:
As part of TIVAR’s optimized sliding materials, TIVAR DrySlide is the material with the lowest coefficient of friction. TIVAR DrySlide is a PE-UHMW material with self-lubricating properties due to an integrated lubricant. This results in an extremely low friction coefficient independent of strain. TIVAR DrySlidw also has antistatic function.
TRI uses its greatest use in the transposed parcel lines where a great fluidity is
Technical features:
- Self-lubricating
- Good chemical resistance and corrosion
- Low coefficient of friction
- No moisture absorption
- Good workability
- UV resistant
- Antistatic
Defects:
Compared to the technopolymer it has low mechanical strengths: traction, flexion, compression, etc. And thermal
Applications:
- Curve guides
- Guides with belt drive and chain controls
- Slides for parcels
- Sliding and propulsion elements
